A woman who came to the U.S. to work as a nanny for a Watertown family has been missing for a week, and local police are asking the public’s help finding her.
In a Facebook post on Friday, Watertown investigators said Bogalech Gedore, 34, traveled from the United Arab Emirates for the nanny job eight months ago. But the family said they haven’t seen her since the evening of Friday, May 10, according to police.
Investigators shared a photo of Gedore and urged anyone with information about her whereabouts to contact police.
“Bogalech does not speak English well and she is not known to have friends or family in the area,” police wrote in the social media post. “If you have any information that could be helpful, please contact the Watertown Police Department at 617-972-6500.”
