A Hull man was arrested Tuesday on child pornography charges, authorities announced.
James Tucker, 69, is charged with possession of child pornography, disseminating child pornography, and photographing an unsuspecting nude person, Hull police said in a statement.
His arrest was the result of an investigation by Hull police in partnership with the United States Secret Service New England Cyber Fraud Task Force, the police department said. Police obtained a search warrant and searched Tucker’s Hull home around 6 a.m. on May 7.
Tucker was not home at the time. Police said investigators seized hard drives, thumb drives, and other items as part of the case. Tucker, who was in Florida, was informed over the phone about the search of his home, police said.
He was arrested Tuesday upon his arrival at Boston Logan Airport and his cell phone was seized, police said.
Tucker was arraigned Wednesday in Hingham District Court. The investigation remains active and ongoing, police said.
