A former Milford second grade teacher was sentenced Wednesday in federal court to serve more than five years in prison for possessing child pornography, authorities announced.
Vincent Kiejzo, 36, was sentenced to serve 42 months in prison and ordered to pay $43,500 in restitution to victims, according to the office of acting U.S. Attorney Joshua S. Levy. He pleaded guilty in December to one count of possession of child pornography.
Prosecutors said in May 2019, an IP address registered to Kiejzo was linked to websites known to host content, and discussions of, the sexual exploitation of minors. When his Milford home was searched in September 2020, prosecutors said investigators found a USB drive plugged into a television in his bedroom that contained links to child sexual exploitation websites, as well as more than 6,000 images of child pornography, including those involving infants.
Kiejzo will be required to register as a sex offender and be prohibited from contact with children when he is released from prison, according to Levy’s office.
