Body found in car at Allston tow lot

Police are investigating the death of a person found inside a car Friday. 

A person was found dead in a car that had been towed from the T.J. Maxx parking lot on Harvard Street in Brookline, according to WCVB. 

This discovery was made around 8:20 a.m. at D&G Towing in Allston, according to the news station. 

Police said the body was inside a Jeep Wrangler with out-of-state plates, according to WCVB. 

Officials said the body had been inside the vehicle since the previous night, when it was towed to the lot around 11:25 p.m. from Harvard Street. 

The death is being investigated by the Brookline police and Massachusetts State Police, according to WBZ NewsRadio.
