Boston Police are searching for a suspect after a man was shot early Sunday morning in the North End.
At 2:52 a.m., BPD officers responded to the area of 226 North St. for a report of a person shot. The victim, an adult male, was transported to a local hospital with nonlife-threatening injuries, according to a BPD spokesperson.
No arrests have been made, and an investigation is ongoing.
The address that police responded to is around the corner from the St. John School and the Paul Revere House.
Residents told Boston 25 News that the shooting stemmed from an altercation that occurred at a party inside a local club. The BPD spokesperson could not confirm this.
