Worcester police are investigating a Tuesday night crash involving a pickup truck and tow truck that left a 29-year-old man dead.
Police said officers responded to a call for a crash with a person trapped on Southwest Cutoff around 11:11 p.m. on Tuesday. Police said the initial investigation indicates that a pickup truck and tow truck were involved in the crash, with “heavy damage” to the pickup.
The driver of the pickup truck, a 29-year-old Worcester man, was rushed to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
No other injuries were reported in the crash, which remains under investigation, according to police.
