A truck went airborne during an accident in Brockton Thursday night, landing on top of multiple parked cars and strking the side of a house.
The driver fled the scene, according to officials.
Brockton police, fire, and ambulances responded to the scene. According to officials, the driver was heading south in a Ford Ranger on Montello Street when the truck hit a fire hydrant.
The driver lost control of the truck and crashed into the porch at 1007 Montello Street, officials said. It then hit the side of the building, landing on top of multiple parked cars.
The fire department reported minor damage to the building. The driver remains at large after jumping out of the car and fleeing the scene.
