Police seek missing 15-year-old girl last seen in Dorchester

Jayla Santiago is described as Hispanic, about 5’05” and 150 pounds with green/hazel eyes and black hair.

Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing 15-year-old girl who was last seen in Dorchester last week.

Jayla Santiago was last seen at about 7 a.m. on Friday, April 12, in the area of 206 Norwell St., Boston police said in a statement Wednesday. 

Santiago is a student at Tech Boston Academy located at 9 Peacevale Road. She did not attend school on the day of her disappearance, according to police. 

She is described as Hispanic, about 5’05” and 150 pounds with green/hazel eyes. She has braided black hair, police said. 

Santiago was last seen wearing a puffy black jacket and red and black checkered pants and had a black purse.
