Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing 15-year-old girl who was last seen in Dorchester last week.
Jayla Santiago was last seen at about 7 a.m. on Friday, April 12, in the area of 206 Norwell St., Boston police said in a statement Wednesday.
Santiago is a student at Tech Boston Academy located at 9 Peacevale Road. She did not attend school on the day of her disappearance, according to police.
She is described as Hispanic, about 5’05” and 150 pounds with green/hazel eyes. She has braided black hair, police said.
Santiago was last seen wearing a puffy black jacket and red and black checkered pants and had a black purse.
Anyone with information is asked to call 911 or detectives at 615-343-4712. Anonymous tips can be submitted by calling the CrimeStoppers Tip Line at 1-800 (494) – TIPS or by texting “TIP” to CRIME (27463).
