Officials are looking for a woman who reportedly took a defibrillator that had fallen from a fire truck in Beverly last month.
The woman picked up the defibrillator March 30 at the intersection of Cabot Street and Edwards Street, the Beverly Fire Department said in a Facebook post Tuesday. She was seen on surveillance footage picking up the device and walking down Cabot Street, officials said.
The device, which is used to restore a normal heartbeat by delivering an electric charge to the heart, came free from its storage cabinet in a fire truck, the fire department said.
“If you can help us identify this person, we would like to get this piece of equipment back,” the department said in the post.
Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call 978-922-2424.
