A Rockport man is facing multiple charges involving allegedly raping a child between 2013 and 2015, police announced.
59-year-old Brian E. Tuck was arrested last Thursday and pleaded not guilty at his arraignment Friday, court records show. Tuck is charged with aggravated statutory rape, indecent assault and battery on an intellectually disabled person and a person under 14, three counts of rape of a child under 16, and reckless endangerment of a child.
Police said the multiple alleged incidents involved a child known to him about a decade ago.
“This case shows a profoundly disturbing pattern of abuse and betrayal of trust,” Rockport Chief John Horvath said in a statement.
Tuck was held without bail and was ordered to stay away from the victim and their family, police said. He is scheduled to appear back in court on Friday.
