Cambridge school resource officer accidentally discharges gun in Rindge and Latin bathroom
Authorities said no one was injured and the school day was not disrupted.
A school resource officer accidentally discharged their firearm inside a bathroom at Cambridge Rindge and Latin School on Tuesday afternoon, officials said.
Cambridge police and Cambridge Public Schools said in a statement that no one was injured in the incident and that the youth resource officer “immediately” notified supervisors and administrators.
The school day was not disrupted, officials said.
Cambridge police responded to the high school and are continuing to investigate the incident.
