A 17-year-old who had been placed on Massachusetts State Police’s “most wanted” list for allegedly committing murder was captured Monday, officials announced.

Kahmari Price was tracked to an address on West Boylston Street in Worcester. State Police troopers worked with Worcester police and Brockton police to take him into custody Monday morning. He was arrested without incident at 9:41 a.m., officials said.
Price allegedly killed 33-year-old Mark Boyd on North Main Street in Brockton on Feb. 26, 2023. Boyd was found at the scene with a gunshot wound to the head.
An investigation led police to label Price as the shooter. Police said that he had ties to the Greater Fall River area and was actively avoiding law enforcement. They warned the public that he should have been considered armed and dangerous. Price was added to the MSP most wanted list on Oct. 11, 2023.
Price was arraigned in Brockton District Court Monday afternoon. He was charged with one count of murder.
