Olivia Colby, the Westborough woman who had been missing since March 14, was found dead Thursday afternoon, according to the office of Worcester County District Attorney Joseph D. Early Jr.
“Preliminary findings do not suggest anything suspicious about her death. The investigation remains ongoing. We ask that you respect her family’s privacy at this difficult time,” Early’s office said in a release.
It is not clear where Colby’s body was found.
Colby was last seen at an address on Mountain View Drive in Westborough earlier this month. Officials initially said that she could be in the Lowell area. Massachusetts State Police said that there was concern for Colby’s well-being.
The search widened a few days later when a person in Kennebunk, Maine, told police that they thought they saw Colby. The witness said that they believed they saw her traveling south on Route 1 in a white 4-door sedan, which police said was possibly a Toyota Corolla or a Prius.
