A 27-year-old Westborough woman who has been missing since last week was potentially seen in Maine, police said.
Olivia Colby was last seen near her home in Westborough, Mass. last Friday on Mountain View Drive. Westborough police shared a description of Colby on Monday and said she “could be anywhere but possibly Lowell area.”
Police in Kennebunk, Maine said Tuesday that a witness believed they saw Colby Monday night around the Maine town located about halfway between Portsmouth and Portland. Around 8 p.m., Colby was seen traveling south on Route 1 in a white 4-door sedan, which police said was possibly a Toyota Corolla or a Prius.
Westborough police said their search will be widened with the help of the Worcester County District Attorney’s Office and the Massachusetts State Police investigators.
“We continue to ask for your assistance with locating Olivia as we reconfirm our commitment to locating her and answering the questions we all have in support of her and her family,” Westborough Police Chief Todd Minardi said in a statement.
Massachusetts State Police said there is concern for Colby’s well-being.
Colby has brown hair and brown eyes and is about 5 foot 7 inches and 140 pounds, police said. Kennebunk police said she was seen wearing a pink long sleeve sweatshirt, short black shorts, and black shoes. She also has an eyebrow piercing above her right eye.
Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to contact the Westborough Police at 508-366-3060 or to call 911.
