An animal shelter in Salem is “overflowing” with puppies and seeking adopters as a result.
“We are overflowing with puppies at Northeast Animal Shelter in Salem!” MSPCA-Angell wrote in a Facebook post Tuesday. “Seriously, come adopt please!”
The post was accompanied by several adorable pictures of the youngsters, who are likely mostly shepherd mixes, MSPCA said.
“We’re not sure what these pups are mixed with, but we think they will likely be on the larger side,” read the description for the puppies on MSPCA’s website. “They could likely go to a home with another dog who wants an annoying younger sibling to be a role model to.”
The puppies are spayed or neutered and vaccinated and “ready to go home today,” according to MSPCA. They are all around 2 months old, according to their adoption profiles.
The Northeast Animal Shelter is located at 347 Highland Ave. in Salem and is open every day from 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
“These puppies have been through lots of transitions in their short lives and are looking for a home that can help them figure out the world in a safe and fun way!” the puppies’ profiles read.
