Police responded to a collision between a tractor-trailer and an MBTA Commuter Rail train in Littleton on Monday.
Littleton police were alerted around noon. The incident occurred at the railroad crossing near King and Taylor streets, the department said in a release.
There were no injuries. Passengers were taken off the train and transferred to another, police said.
Members of the public were asked to stay away from the area Monday afternoon while debris was cleaned up. MBTA Transit Police are continuing to investigate.
The driver of the tractor-trailer reportedly told WHDH that a traffic jam prevented him from clearing the tracks.
