A Boston firefighter sustained minor injuries and nine people were displaced following a fire that started in a Chinatown restaurant late Saturday night, officials said.
The Boston Fire Department responded to 15 Hudson St. at about midnight Saturday, officials said in a statement. The fire started on the first floor and spread to the roof at the back of the building, requiring “major overhauling of the multiple layers of roof.”

A firefighter sustained minor injuries in the incident and was transported to a local hospital. Six adults and three children were also displaced, officials said.
The Red Cross of Massachusetts is helping those displaced. The cause of the fire is under investigation, according to the statement.
