Cyclist collides with MBTA bus after suffering ‘medical emergency’
The man was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries after the Wednesday morning incident, police said.
A cyclist sustained minor injuries after suffering a medical issue that possibly caused him to crash into an MBTA bus Wednesday morning, officials said.
Boston police responded to the area of High Street and Summer Street at about 8:40 a.m. on Wednesday for reports of a car accident, a spokesperson for the department said.
A spokesperson for MBTA transit police said the man drove into the side of the bus after a “possible medical emergency.”
The victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries, officials said.
