Police warning residents after ‘sophisticated’ skimming device found on ATM in Mansfield

The device was found on the Citizens Bank ATM inside Cumberland Farms in Mansfield, police said.

Mansfield police are urging residents to check their card statements after a “sophisticated” skimming device was found on an ATM inside Cumberland Farms. 

The device was found on the Citizens Bank ATM inside the convenience store, located at 30 Chauncy St. in Mansfield, the Mansfield Police Department said in a statement Saturday. Police are unsure of how long the device was there. 

Officials are urging the public to check their credit and debit card statements and notify their bank if they suspect a breech. Anyone with questions or concerns can reach out to the police department’s business line.
