Police released images of a car that was involved in a hit-and-run incident in Quincy Tuesday evening, with a request for the public’s help in identifying the driver.
The mid-size, dark-colored SUV is believed to have damage to the passenger side bumper, hood, and windshield, Quincy police said in a statement Wednesday.
Police received several 911 calls at about 6 p.m. Tuesday reporting that a pedestrian was hit by a vehicle in the area of 1020 Southern Artery in Quincy. The victim sustained serious injuries and was still hospitalized as of Wednesday afternoon, police said.
The vehicle fled northbound on Southern Artery towards South Street, police said.
