A pedestrian suffered life-threatening injuries Tuesday morning after being hit by an MBTA bus in Boston, officials said.
Officers responded to the area of Harrison Avenue and Traveler Street in the South End for a report of a pedestrian struck at about 7:19 a.m., said Boston police spokesperson Michael Torigian.
The victim was brought to a local hospital with life threatening injuries, Torigian said.
Homicide detectives and the fatal collision team were requested and responded to the scene. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
