Commuters relying on the Green Line should plan for longer wait times and disruptions to their travels in the coming weeks as the MBTA closes several portions of the line for track work.
From Feb. 20 through March 8, the MBTA said shuttle buses will replace service between Copley and Babcock Street on the B line, between Copley and Cleveland Circle on the C line, and between Copley and Brookline Hills on the D line.
“Riders can use the Orange Line for alternate service downtown as Green Line wait times will be longer,” the MBTA said.
According to the transit agency, travel alternatives include free accessible shuttle buses, fare-free bus routes (such as the 57), and the Commuter Rail.
