Police in Vermont last week seized large amounts of fentanyl and cocaine as part of ongoing investigation.
Vermont State Police said the department’s drug task force was executing a search warrant on Higgins Hill in St. Johnsbury on Thursday when they recovered multiple firearms, 900 bags of fentanyl, 12 grams of bulk fentanyl, 62 grams of bulk crack cocaine, and money that police said was from the sale of drugs.
According to police, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Homeland Security, Newport police, the Franklin County Sheriff’s Department, Morristown police, and St. Johnsbury police are also involved in the case.
“This is an ongoing investigation, and further details will be released when possible,” police said.
