A body was found in Boston Harbor near the New England Aquarium Saturday morning, police said.
Police received a call at approximately 10:23 a.m. for a report of a body in the water. When police arrived, Boston firefighters had recovered the body and determined that the person was deceased, a Boston Police Department spokesperson said.
The gender, race, and age of the person recovered was released as of Sunday afternoon.
The Boston Police Department Homicide Unit will be investigating the person’s death, according to police.
