Two people were taken to the hospital after a Boston Public Schools bus was involved in a crash on the Riverway Tuesday morning.
BPS spokesperson Max Baker said there was a “small number” of students, one bus monitor, and a driver onboard at the time, “all of whom are being evaluated for injuries.”
Baker said the school district has contacted affected families about the crash, which is under investigation by the Massachusetts State Police. An MSP spokesperson did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
Boston EMS reported that the crash happened in the 300 block of the Riverway in Mission Hill, and a spokesperson said two adults were transported to a local hospital.
It was not immediately clear how many vehicles were involved in the crash.
This is a developing story and will be updated as more information becomes available.
