What a long, strange trip it’s been for old Rocky raccoon.
Perhaps seeking a meal on wheels, a raccoon hopped aboard the back of a Waste Management trash truck rolling down Interstate 93 on Friday — and passersby were able to catch the moment on video shared with WMUR.

The raccoon can be seen clinging to the back of the truck on a ladder, fur ruffling in the wind.
Fortunately, the wild carpool situation ended without issues: A spokesman for Waste Management confirmed Monday the raccoon was safely removed from the truck and “was doing well.”
While it’s unclear what the raccoon made of the trek, the incident made for some great fun online.
One Twitter user took the clip and overdubbed Johnny Cash’s “I’ve Been Everywhere.”
May we suggest a few other songs to try out?
Wherever you are ramblin’, raccoon, safe travels.
