A vehicle got stuck on the Chelsea Street Bridge when it opened around 4:15 p.m. on Friday and two workers were fired as a result, according to authorities.
A video of the incident shows what appears to be a lone pickup truck or SUV in the middle of the bridge as it slowly rises skyward.

“I’ve never seen anything like this before,” Randy Andrews, who took the video, told WHDH. “I pulled up expecting the bridge to go up as normal, then I saw the car just going up along with it.”
No one was injured and the vehicle drove away, according to a statement from the state Department of Transportation. There was also no impact on traffic.
A private vendor, Cora, operates the bridge. When reviewing what happened, it was found that procedure wasn’t followed, resulting in the firings, the statement said.
