Man gets clothing caught in escalator at Harvard Square station

A man attempting to light a cigarette got some of his clothing caught in an escalator Thursday night at the Harvard Square MBTA station.

The man was allegedly intoxicated and sitting on the escalator when his clothing got caught, an MBTA spokesman said via email.

The man was reportedly taken to the hospital, according to WHDH.
