Sherell Pringle, the missing Woburn woman, has been found dead in Saugus, according to the Essex District Attorney’s office.
“They found my daughter,” Pearl Pringle told The Boston Globe, noting that she and family members were headed to Saugus. “She’s gone.”
State police spokesman David Procopio confirmed that a body was found in a marsh along Route 107 northbound in Saugus just after 1 p.m. on Tuesday.
Just before 5 p.m., Essex District Attorney spokeswoman Carrie Kimball confirmed the body belonged to Pringle. She said foul play is suspected.
A heavy police presence could be seen in the area.

Woburn police, along with those in Lynn and Boston, had been searching for Pringle. Her family hadn’t spoken with her since Saturday.
Pringle was last seen with her boyfriend on Saturday. The 40-year-old was reported missing on Sunday by her family, the Globe reported.
“Family members have had no contact with Pringle since Saturday evening, which is considered unusual,’’ authorities had said, according to the Globe. “A missing persons report for Pringle was filed with the Lynn Police Department on Sunday … Pringle’s cellphone was recovered from a storm drain in Lynn” on Monday.
According to Kimball, no arrests have been made. The investigation remains open.
