A wintry mix of freezing rain and snow is expected through noon tomorrow, the agency tweeted.
WBZ Chief Meteorologist Eric Fisher tweeted that “a light icy glaze” was possible for some interior areas.

As meteorologist Dave Epstein pointed out, it doesn’t take much to cause problems.
If you're north of the Mass Pike over interior areas pre-dawn tomorrow morning, there could be some light icing with a few slippery spots. It almost takes an unmeasurable amount to cause problems so just be aware. pic.twitter.com/CSyhXsxpot

Channel 7 meteorologist Jeremy Reiner said that conditions should be better by the afternoon commute, with weather that is both warmer and dryer.
