Highly satisfying? This may be the world’s largest pot brownie — and it’s made in Massachusetts

Wednesday happens to be National Brownie Day, and with that in mind, one Massachusetts cannabis business has perhaps taken the celebration to a higher level.

Enter what’s thought to the world’s largest pot-infused brownie.

MariMed, based in Norwood with different locations elsewhere in the state, created the 3-foot-by-3-foot confectionary wonder to celebrate not only the national holiday, but also the launch of its new brand, Bubby’s Baked, a line of cannabis infused bites. There’s chocolate chip, brownie, and snickerdoodle, according to a press release.

The colossal sister (cousin?) to the new venture stands 15 inches tall and weighs about 850 pounds. There’s 20,000 milligrams of THC in it. (Enough for about 25 pre-rolled joints, if you’re keeping track at home.)

There’s no word on exactly how one would go about consuming such a brownie.

“That’s a fair question — if I could unhinge [my] jaw like a snake, then that way,” a spokesman for the company quipped in an email to Boston.com.

The confectionary wonder is eventually headed to a medical marijuana patient in Massachusetts. A price hasn’t been established yet, the spokesman said.

MariMed’s new edibles are set to be sold at its dispensary in Middleborough, plus others in Delaware and Maryland next year.
