Police ask for public’s help in locating missing Hyde Park girl

The Boston Police Department is turning to the public for help in locating a missing 12-year-old from Hyde Park. 

Jaylynn Stephenson was last seen near 72 Sierra Rd. in Hyde Park at around 2:30 p.m. Sunday. Stephenson, who has run away in the past, according to the police, has previously been found in Lynn and South Boston. 

Stephenson is described as approximately 5 feet 3 inches tall, weighing approximately 115 pounds, with brown hair. She was last seen wearing a tan hooded sweatshirt, dark jeans, and black sneakers. 

Anyone with information or who has seen Stephenson is urged to call detectives at 617-343-5607.
