Watch: Sharon police seek ‘trick-or-treater’ who ran off after forcibly grabbing bowls of candy

Call him the Halloween Grinch who stole candy.

Sharon police are asking for the public’s help in finding a masked marauder who allegedly stole candy from “multiple men, women, and children” on Halloween night.

In one instance, a doorbell video caught the alleged thief in the act. In the video shared by police, the masked and hooded individual can be seen approaching the door of a home and knocking on it, calling out “Trick or treat!” When the resident opens the door, the person rips the candy bowl out of their hands and takes off running.

Anyone who may know something about this person is asked to call police at 781-784-1587.
