A girl biking to school was hit by a truck in Uxbridge on Thursday morning and suffered serious injuries, according to the Uxbridge Police Department.
The girl was reportedly biking to Uxbridge High School, where she is a student, when she was hit. She was taken to UMass Memorial Hospital by medical helicopter.
Uxbridge police report the crash happened in the northbound lane of Quaker Highway at 7:15 a.m.

No further information about the victim’s condition or identity has been released.
The driver of the truck remained on the scene and officials are investigating the incident. Quaker Highway has since reopened for traffic.
