A man was stabbed at Restaurant Depot in Needham on Wednesday afternoon, according to officials.
Needham Police responded to a call regarding a medical issue at Restaurant Depot, located at 114 First Avenue, just before 2:00 p.m. When emergency personnel arrived, they found a person had been stabbed.

On 8/18/21 at approximately 1:55 PM Needham Police and Fire units responded to Restaurant Depot (114 First Ave) for a medical-related call. On scene, officers discovered a person had been stabbed.
The suspect, identified as 65-year-old Angel Cartagena Resto of Dorchester, was reportedly still in the building when police arrived and was arrested.
The Needham Fire Department transported the victim to Boston’s Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. Police report he is in stable condition.
Cartagena Resto was charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and assault with the intent to murder.
