A fatal car crash between two vehicles occurred in Falmouth on Monday morning.
The driver and sole occupant of one of the cars — 48-year-old Fawn Willson, of Falmouth — was pronounced dead after being transported to Falmouth Hospital, according to police.
The head-on collision occurred around 6:54 a.m. at the intersection of Sandwich Road and Greenwood Street, and Falmouth Police and Fire Rescue departments responded to the scene.
There were two occupants in the other vehicle, both of whom were taken to the hospital as well to be treated for injuries.
The investigation was ongoing and was being run by the Falmouth Police Department and the Massachusetts State Police Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Section. No charges had been filed as of Tuesday afternoon.
