A man on the New Bedford-based fishing vessel Blue Wave went overboard, and Coast Guard crews were assisting with the search 60 nautical miles southeast of Nantucket on Monday morning.
“The man was not wearing a life jacket,” the Coast Guard said on Twitter.
Coast Guard crews from Air Station Cape Cod and the Coast Guard Cutter Tybee responded.

The man was not wearing a life jacket.
CGC TYBEE is also en route to assist in the search.
