One of the world’s largest sand sculpting festivals returned to Revere Beach after its cancellation in 2020 due to COVID-19. The Revere Beach Partnership hosted the 17th Revere Beach International Sand Sculpting Festival, which took place from Friday to Sunday.
The festival at Revere Beach also celebrated the 125th anniversary of the country’s first public beach. A 30-minute firework show took place Saturday evening to commemorate the event.
Although this year looked slightly different due to safety measures implemented, sculptors from around the U.S. gathered at the beach to sculpt their artworks.
