38-year-old man dead in apparent industrial incident in Everett
Authorities say the man was operating a forklift alone in a storage facility when the incident occurred.
A 38-year-old man is dead following an apparent industrial incident in Everett on Monday.
The man, who has not been publicly identified, was reportedly operating a forklift hydraulic system alone at a storage facility on Commercial Street when it collapsed on him. He was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the Middlesex County District Attorney’s Office.
The district attorney’s office, along with state police assigned to that office, and Everett police are investigating. The Occupational Safety and Health Administration, or OSHA, is also investigating.
