Missing Dorchester teenage girl located safely

Janira Perez has been located safely, according to Boston police.

Boston police issued a missing person’s alert for the 14-year-old Dorchester teenager on Monday. Police asked for public assistance in helping find Perez.

Perez was last seen around 10:30 p.m. on Saturday night near 19 Cunard Way in Roxbury. Police announced she had been located safely about four hours after the initial missing person alert.
