A person was taken to Boston Medical Center after being hit in the head with a gun during a fight near the Wollaston MBTA station in Quincy Wednesday evening, officials said.

The department tweeted the fight was in progress at 8:20 p.m. “This is not an active shooter incident,” the police department tweeted.
