A 29-year-old Maine woman was reported missing by her parents Tuesday, and police say her last known whereabouts are in New York’s Times Square in the early morning hours of the previous day.
Christine Hammontree, of Falmouth, “was last seen in surveillance video at the McDonald’s restaurant in Times Square” early on Monday, May 24, according to Falmouth police, who are investigating her disappearance along with New York City police.
According to police:
Hammontree was wearing an oversized blue t-shirt, cut off light blue jeans, sandals, carrying an orange backpack and wore black Ray-Ban aviator sunglasses on the top of her head. Hammontree was last seen getting into a vehicle outside of McDonald’s with a group of unidentified individuals.
Anyone with information regarding Hammontree’s whereabouts is asked to call Falmouth police at 207-781-2300.
