Car crashes into Whittier Street Health Center, COVID-19 vaccines to continue

The crash happened around 3:10 a.m., police said.

COVID-19 vaccinations are continuing at Whittier Street Health Center in Roxbury even though a car crashed through the front of the building early Tuesday morning.Boston police say they responded to the area of 282 Blue Hill Ave. around 3:10 a.m. for a report of a car into the building. There was damage to the front of the health center, and an adult female passenger was taken to a nearby hospital with injuries believed to be non-life-threatening.The investigation is ongoing, and it’s unclear if the driver will face charges, police said.Even though the building is damaged, The Boston Globe  reports that the center will continue giving vaccines.
