12 displaced, 1 hospitalized after fire at Mission Hill home
A heavy fire hit the second and third floors of a home in Mission Hill late Monday night, the Boston Fire Department said.
Crews responded to the three-family house at 59 Pontiac Street at 9:50 p.m. and had to avoid nearby power lines. The heavy flames were knocked down by 10:30 p.m., according to the department.
Twelve residents and a puppy are displaced from the building, and one of the residents was brought to the hospital after they jumped from the second floor.
