Watch: Firefighters rescue dog stuck in icy water in Quincy

A team rescued the dog on Saturday.

On Saturday, Quincy firefighters found themselves making an icy cold rescue after a dog became stuck in freezing water at Granite Links golf course.Using a flotation device, a crew swam out to the dog, seen with its head bobbing above the frigid water in a video shared by the Friends of Quincy Firefighters IAFF Local 792 on Facebook Sunday. Firefighters were able to bring the canine to shore within a short amount of time.The dog can be seen clambering ashore and wagging its tail at people waiting for it.
