A missing Belmont teen has been found and reunited with her family, police say
Nya Brown had been missing since Jan. 17, according to authorities.

A 15-year-old Belmont girl has been reunited with her family after she was reported missing last week, police announced Thursday.
Nya Brown, who went missing on Jan. 17, was located and reconnected to her relatives, Belmont police said in a statement.
“The Belmont Police would like to thank the numerous law enforcement agencies and individuals who helped to located Nya,” police said. “There will be no further comments from the Belmont Police Department on this incident.”

Earlier this week, Brown’s father told The Boston Herald when he discovered Brown was gone, he found her bedroom window open and her phone and wallet were left behind.
The teenager is a student and track athlete at Belmont High School.
