Pedestrian dies after apparent hit-and-run in Charlestown
A pedestrian in Charlestown is dead after an apparent hit-and-run Tuesday.
The driver reportedly struck the victim by the Charlestown Navy Yards around 11:30 a.m, and the body was apparently dragged before being found in City Square nearly a mile away, police said. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver didn’t stop, according to police, who found “a vehicle of interest” by Tuesday afternoon.
