Have you had your bike stolen? Check with Boston Police: They’ve recovered dozens
The bikes were found after an investigation into several thefts around Allston-Brighton.
Dude, where’s my bike?
If you’re wondering, there might be an answer. Detectives at the Boston Police Department announced Monday that they have recovered dozens of stolen bicycles after a large-scale investigation of several bike thefts in and around Allston-Brighton.
Authorities shared photos of some of the (frankly very nice) bikes in a community alert, so if you’ve had a bike stolen in Boston but never reported it, take a look to see if you recognize yours or give detectives a ring at (617) 343-4256.
Many of the bikes have identifying serial numbers along with extra accessories and customizations, so proving that you’re the rightful owner should be straightforward, the department said.
