Bicyclist struck and killed by utility truck in Milton
Troopers told WCVB that the truck belonged to Eversource.
A bicyclist was struck and killed by a utility truck in Milton Tuesday afternoon, the Massachusetts State Police reported.

Police say the crash happened at the intersection of Blue Hills Parkway and Eliot Street, just south of Mattapan. It caused road closures in the area, and police urged drivers to use alternate routes.
Troopers told WCVB that the truck belonged to Eversource. A statement from the utility company gave condolences to the victim’s family and expressed support with the investigation.
Police did not release the identities of the driver or victim, nor did they say if the driver was facing charges. The agency said it will release more information later.
