Rockland residents warned of water main break, asked to conserve water ‘until further notice’

The town has not released any more details on how long it will be until the situation is resolved.  

Rockland town officials are urging all residents to conserve water as crews address a major water main break Sunday afternoon at the Abington and Rockland Joint Water Works. “It is critical that all Rockland residents and businesses conserve water as much as possible until further notice,” officials said in a Facebook post. “Please call the ARJWW at (781) 878-0901 if you have any questions.”

As of Sunday afternoon, the joint water works office was closed and could not be reached for more information. 

The town has not released any more details on how long it will be until the situation is repaired.
